Excellent body shop! I brought in my 2024 RAV4 to get the rear bumper fixed, and the repair work was seamless. What really stood out was their incredible attention to detail—they gave the car a complimentary wash, scrubbed off stubborn tree sap I had given up on, cleaned my interior floor mats, and even dressed the tires. I reached out to an old high school friend who owns Akins Collision Center in Santa Clara, and I'm so glad I did. Santiago, Mari, and the whole team made me feel like family from the moment I walked in. Part of that is because we go way back, but it's clear they treat every customer that way. They understand how stressful car damage can be, and they take care of their clients no matter how big or small the job is.

They walked me through the repairs, answered all my questions, and made a frustrating situation a lot easier to deal with. When I got the car back, it looked like nothing had ever happened, and my fiancée was just as happy with the result as I was.

A TERRIFIC  experience with ALL Akins Santa Clara employees. As a female, I never know what I will get from a car repair/mechanic shop.  Most will speak to me in a condescending tone.  Ladies, you know what I mean.
From the moment I arrived with my car that needed to be repaired after a large tree branch fell on the trunk while parked, I was treated with respect.
Going to get my car repaired is an extremely stressful process.  Finding the right place to take care of me, is even more difficult.  How does one choose a repair shop?  It is a gamble.  Well I gambled with Akins, and what an AMAZING experience.  I was treated respectfully, and with care.
Every employee I met at Akins was friendly, professional, and helpful. They made sure I was comfortably seated, offered me a refreshment and I felt that I was not just a number in a large warehouse.  And, I arrived at the very end of the day, but it made no difference, they showed no visible disappointment of having to handle a customer that late in the day.
I was then driven to pick up a rental car by an employee, who was kind and trustworthy. And I felt comfortable with his driving.
Throughout the process of repair, I was kept informed of my vehicle’s status. I was able to contact Akins via text, or phone for information.
Akins delivered my car to my home, and returned my rental car as well.
My car arrived in better condition than when I dropped it off! They even painted over some of the little scratches that were there prior to me dropping it off.  The car had been washed, and detailed with precision.
I feel like I have a brand new car, even though it is 12 years old.

Had to get a front bumper replaced through my insurance after a hit and run. Santiago was extremely easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. He even took the extra effort find new parts instead of refurbished when that was all my insurance was willing to cover, and ensured my PPF that was damaged would also be covered under the insurance coverage. I had the misfortune of damaging 2 cars at once, I gave both of them to Akins. One of them was a minor repair, one of them was major.

The major repair came to ~$10k and took about 5 weeks including a delay due to a supplement.

The minor repair was ~3k and took 2 weeks. There was some incidental damage to the car during handling, but they owned up to it proactively and thoroughly repaired everything.

Akins Collision Center made a stressful situation so much easier. Santiago kept us updated every step of the way, we always knew exactly where our repair stood, no chasing for information. He clearly knows how to work with insurance, handling the estimate and back-and-forth with the carrier smoothly so we didn’t have to stress over it. I was looking for a reputable shop to apply PeelClear for my car. Daily driving with the rock chip is sure a crazy thing, there is a need for good protection, not keen of PPF. Akins Collision has been super professional and courteous. The car looks awesome!
